The Staal Plast Flood & Drain Tray 1000MM x 2040MM is a professional ebb and flow irrigation tray designed for controlled and uniform irrigation across a larger growing area. Suitable for hydroponic grow rooms, commercial greenhouses, nurseries and propagation facilities, the tray provides an efficient platform for simultaneously irrigating multiple plants.

During the flood cycle, water mixed with nutrients is introduced onto the tray and distributed across the growing surface. The integrated channel design helps provide even nutrient solution distribution, allowing plants positioned across the tray to receive consistent irrigation during each cycle.

After irrigation, excess nutrient solution drains away through the tray's channel system. Efficient drainage helps prevent containers from remaining in standing water between irrigation cycles and prepares the tray for the next scheduled flood cycle.

When incorporated into a properly configured recirculating hydroponic system, the drained nutrient solution can be returned to a central reservoir for filtration, treatment and reuse. This can help reduce overall water and nutrient consumption compared with traditional run-to-waste irrigation systems.
