The Otterbine Fractional Aerator Deluxe LED is a versatile 1/2HP pond aerator and fountain system designed to combine effective water circulation, aeration, decorative fountain displays and LED illumination in one compact package. Ideal for small ponds, dams and water features, the Fractional Series gives property owners and professional installers multiple ways to improve water movement and presentation.

Its key advantage is the flexible 5-in-1 configuration. The unit can be configured with four interchangeable fountain patterns - Gemini, High Volume, Phoenix and Rocket - or converted into a Horizontal Mixer. This makes the system suitable for applications where decorative surface aeration, water circulation or a combination of both is required. Units are supplied in the Gemini configuration as standard.

For Australian 230V / 50Hz applications, performance varies according to the selected pattern. The Gemini configuration delivers up to 115m3/hr water flow with a spray approximately 1.2m high and 1.8m in diameter, while the High Volume pattern delivers up to 99m3/hr. Phoenix and Rocket provide taller, more concentrated displays, with the Rocket reaching approximately 3m in height.

The Deluxe package incorporates two 6.5W LED pond lights with clear lenses, producing a total lamp wattage of 13W. The lighting system operates at 12VDC and is complemented by a dedicated Mini Power Control Center with timer, transformer and photocell for convenient automatic operation.

The aerator also includes its own Mini Power Control Center with GFCI and timer, along with a debris screen to help protect the system during operation. This product variant is listed with a 30m cable, making it suitable for installations requiring additional distance between the pond system and its electrical connection point.

Installation: All electrical work must be performed by a qualified licensed electrician conforming to applicable electrical safety codes; arrange installation of a suitable GFCI and timer (timer and plug not included).
Power Cable: Bury or trench the power cable in conduit to the pond edge, then connect the plug to the unit using the quick disconnect.
Floating and Mooring: Float the unit in the water and anchor or moor into position - spray pattern configurations require two mooring points, while the Mixer/Circulator configuration requires three points; use of a boat may be required depending on pond size.
Pattern Conversion: To change spray patterns, follow the instructions in the owner's manual; all five configurations can be swapped in minutes by one person.
Minimum Operating Depth: Ensure the pond depth at the installation point is at least 41cm before operating the unit.
Maintenance: No preventative or annual maintenance is required; if the intake screen becomes blocked, turn the unit off, unplug it from the power source, and remove debris by hand or with a wire brush.
