Oase SeDox Speed - 4.8KG / 9.8KG | Phosphate Binder

OASE SeDox Speed is a fast-acting phosphate binder for ponds, lakes and swimming ponds, designed to quickly reduce dissolved phosphate levels and help limit a major nutrient source for unwanted algae growth. Available in 4.8KG and 9.8KG sizes, it provides a convenient solution for targeted phosphate management.

Excess nutrients, particularly phosphate, can contribute to unwanted algae development in aquatic environments. SeDox Speed works by adsorbing dissolved phosphate from the water and binding it into an insoluble form, reducing its availability for algae.

Unlike treatments that need to be distributed throughout the entire water body, SeDox Speed is supplied in convenient removable sachets. Each sachet provides a phosphate binding capacity of up to 21G PO4 and is suitable for approximately 25M3 of water, depending on phosphate conditions.

For maximum effectiveness, the sachets should be positioned where there is consistent water movement. Suitable locations include filter outlets, filters and flowing watercourses, allowing water to continuously pass around the treatment material. Once positioned correctly, SeDox Speed can begin reducing dissolved phosphate within just a few hours.

A major advantage of SeDox Speed is that its phosphate binding action does not affect the pH value of the water. This makes it suitable for applications where maintaining stable water chemistry is particularly important, including swimming ponds.

After treatment, the sachets can be easily removed without leaving treatment residue within the pond. This provides a clean and practical method for phosphate removal and ongoing nutrient management.

The recommended dosage is one sachet per approximately 25M3 of water, with each sachet capable of binding up to 21G of phosphate. The 4.8KG pack is specified for approximately 200M3 coverage.
