Due Buoi Grafting Knife with Fixed Spatula - DB20PSPOTT | Made in Italy

The Due Buoi Grafting Knife with Fixed Spatula DB20PSPOTT is a professional-quality grafting and budding knife designed for precision plant propagation, nursery work and horticultural applications. Expertly manufactured in Italy, this specialised folding grafting knife features a high-performance carbon steel blade and an integrated fixed brass spatula, providing exceptional cutting control when grafting fruit trees, budding roses, propagating grapevines and working with ornamental plants.

Equipped with a precision-ground 55MM Bohler K720 carbon steel blade, the Due Buoi grafting knife delivers excellent sharpness, cutting accuracy and edge retention. The blade undergoes Due Buoi's specialised EXTRA DURO heat treatment, achieving a hardness of HRC 60 for reliable performance during demanding horticultural tasks. Its straight, single-bevel cutting edge allows users to make clean, controlled cuts when preparing scions, shaping graft unions and trimming delicate plant material.

A standout feature of the Due Buoi DB20PSPOTT grafting knife is its integrated fixed brass spatula, also known as a bark lifter. This specialised tool assists with gently lifting and separating bark during budding procedures, allowing precise insertion of buds while minimising unnecessary damage to surrounding plant tissue. The fixed design provides convenient access to the bark lifter without requiring a separate tool, making it particularly useful for T-budding, shield budding and fruit tree propagation.

Designed for professional horticultural use, this Italian-made grafting knife incorporates a durable brass liner and brass rivets for improved structural strength and longevity. The comfortable black technopolymer handle offers a secure grip and dependable control during detailed cutting operations, while the folding blade design allows compact storage and convenient transport between gardening tasks.

The specialised right-handed grafting blade is particularly suitable for orchard management, vineyard propagation, nursery production and home gardening applications. Whether you are grafting citrus trees, propagating apple and pear varieties, budding roses or preparing ornamental plants, the precision cutting edge and fixed bark lifter provide the functionality required for accurate graft preparation.

Combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with professional cutting performance, the Due Buoi Grafting Knife with Fixed Brass Spatula is an excellent choice for commercial horticulturists, nursery operators, arborists and DIY gardening enthusiasts. Available from Hydro Experts Australia, this premium plant propagation and budding tool offers lasting quality for growers who demand precision, reliability and ease of use.
