Dimlux Lighting – Advanced Grow Lights & Environmental Control Systems
Dimlux Lighting – Precision Grow Lighting & Environmental Control
Discover Dimlux Lighting, an innovative horticultural lighting brand specialising in advanced grow lights, digital ballasts and intelligent environmental control systems. Designed to help growers optimise indoor cultivation, Dimlux combines precision lighting technology with automated environmental management to create efficient, controlled growing environments.
From professional grow rooms to commercial horticultural facilities, Dimlux lighting solutions are engineered to provide reliable performance, flexible light intensity control and integration with environmental monitoring equipment.
At the heart of the Dimlux ecosystem is the Dimlux Maxi Controller, an intelligent control system that allows growers to manage compatible lighting fixtures, monitor environmental conditions and automate key grow room functions through one central interface.
Advanced Grow Lighting for Indoor Cultivation
Dimlux develops lighting technologies designed to give growers greater control over light output and growing conditions. Its Expert Series lighting systems and compatible digital ballasts can be integrated with Dimlux controllers to support consistent illumination throughout different plant growth stages.
With centralised lighting management, growers can adjust light intensity, automate lighting schedules and respond to environmental changes without manually controlling individual fixtures.
1. What is Dimlux Lighting?
Dimlux Lighting is a horticultural lighting brand specialising in advanced grow lights, digital ballasts and intelligent environmental control systems. Its technology is designed to help indoor growers manage lighting intensity, automate schedules and monitor growing conditions.
2. What is the Dimlux Maxi Controller?
The Dimlux Maxi Controller is a centralised lighting and environmental management system designed for compatible Dimlux equipment. It allows growers to control multiple lighting fixtures, automate lighting schedules and integrate optional environmental sensors and accessories.
3. How many grow lights can a Dimlux Maxi Controller manage?
According to the supplied specifications, the Dimlux Maxi Controller can manage up to 160 compatible fixtures or ballasts across two banks of 80 units. Sensor-based control capabilities may differ between banks and depend on the system configuration.
4. What is sunrise and sunset simulation in Dimlux lighting?
Sunrise and sunset simulation gradually increases or decreases light intensity instead of switching lights immediately to full output or complete darkness. This feature creates smoother lighting transitions and can help reduce abrupt changes in the growing environment.
5. Can Dimlux lighting automatically adjust to temperature changes?
Yes. When connected to compatible temperature sensors and configured appropriately, the Dimlux Maxi Controller can automatically dim connected lighting equipment when ambient temperatures exceed predefined limits.
6. Does the Dimlux Maxi Controller monitor humidity and VPD?
Yes. With compatible sensors, the Maxi Controller can monitor relative humidity and display vapour pressure deficit (VPD) information. These measurements help growers assess environmental conditions and make informed adjustments.
7. Can Dimlux controllers manage ventilation and climate control equipment?
Yes. When paired with compatible accessories such as the FAN/AUX BOX, the Maxi Controller can support fan control and the operation of certain humidifiers, dehumidifiers and heating equipment.
8. Are Dimlux grow lights suitable for commercial horticulture?
Dimlux lighting systems are designed for indoor horticultural applications, including professional cultivation environments. Their centralised control capabilities make them suitable for installations requiring coordinated lighting and environmental management.
9. Do Dimlux lighting systems require separate timers?
Compatible Dimlux fixtures and ballasts can be controlled directly through the Maxi Controller, potentially eliminating the need for separate lighting timers and certain switching components. Electrical installation requirements depend on the equipment and system configuration.
10. Where can I buy Dimlux Lighting in Australia?
You can explore Dimlux grow lighting and compatible control equipment available through Hydro Experts Australia, a retailer specialising in hydroponics, horticultural lighting and indoor growing equipment.
